On October 5, 2026, a multiple-vehicle collision involving four cars occurred on the Mexico-Pachuca highway at kilometer 6, in the Totolcingo neighborhood, Acolman, State of Mexico. The accident resulted in two fatalities and eight injuries; one victim was transferred to IMSS Clinic 68 in Ecatepec, while the other seven received care at the scene.
