Emergencies in Mendoza on 14/09/2026

A security guard for the vice governor of Mendoza, Jonathan Araujo Peña, was involved in a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol. The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. on National Route 7 near the Abdón Abraham School. The frontal crash with a motorcycle resulted in the death of the motorcycle's rider, Diego Misael Dávila, aged 24.

Jonathan Araujo Peña has been charged with aggravated negligent homicide. In response to such incidents, we encourage solidarity and social responsibility by supporting victims and hospitals.
