A truck carrying iron angles crashed into the rear of a private bus near the new Katraj tunnel viaduct in Pune, India. The accident resulted in the death of the truck driver and injuries to six passengers on the bus. The impact was strong enough to shatter the bus windows and cause the vehicle to veer towards the road median.
Police suspect the truck driver may have lost control while descending the steep slope from the new Katraj tunnel toward Navale bridge, leading to the collision. We encourage the community to support the victims and hospitals by donating blood. Please consult the blood donation centers in Pune to contribute.
